This vision grew from a mother navigating Spokane's long, grey winters with her children - searching for indoor spaces where families could find connection, warmth, and support when isolation felt heaviest. She saw parents struggling through seasonal depression with nowhere to go, children craving hands-on learning in a region without a science museum or zoo, and families priced out of the few indoor options that existed. So she decided to create something different: the Inland Northwest's first-of-its-kind indoor sanctuary and STEAM park, rooted in care, biophilic design, and a deep understanding of what communities actually need to thrive.
This isn't a traditional play facility or entertainment venue - it's a living indoor environment where nature, science, and wellness come together intentionally. Real trees grow inside our space. Calming green walls invite you to breathe deeper. Natural light filters through skylights onto exploration areas designed for curiosity, not overstimulation. From STEAM learning stations and indoor organic gardens to sensory-friendly quiet zones and community gathering spaces, every element supports mental well-being, creative discovery, and genuine connection across generations. Adults don't just supervise here - they rest, engage, and find restoration alongside their children.
We believe peace, learning, and connection shouldn't depend on your bank account. Our sliding scale model ensures every family can access this space regardless of financial circumstances - because mental health support, quality STEAM education, and safe community gathering places are rights, not luxuries. Every donation, sponsorship, and volunteer hour helps fund trauma-informed programming, inclusive experiences, and the resources that bring comfort and discovery to those who need it most. This is what happens when a community decides to care for its own.
